Located on the Dublin Road in Athlone, Ollie Kenny Ltd has built this 2 storey concrete framed building which contains 4 apartments. Blockwork infill and precast concrete slabs make up the construction of the building, with a trocal flat roof behind a parapet wall finishing it off. The main entrance to this development moved to the opposite end of the site, due to road widening and a new roundabout. The old main entrance was closed permanently which left way for the site of these new apartments. This site proved very challenging as the sewer and stormwater, which were quite deep, had to be diverted prior to commencement. The ESB, Eircom, Broadband, Gas and Water had also to be diverted around the building within very confined spaces. All of this was dealt with by our professional team who liaised with all the relevant authorities quickly and efficiently and completed this project from start to finish within four months and under budget.
